The ZDT (Zhongwen Development Tool) is an easy to use, open-source Mandarin Chinese learning program. Users can create their own word lists and quiz themselves using different flashcard modes.

The program uses the dictionary from the CEDICT project and searching it is easy. Blocks of chinese text can be translated using the Annotation function. The ZDT is written on top of the Eclipse RCP platform which makes it easily extendable via plugins.
